The puppies are growing up and they have been changing day by day. They can walk around now and they complain-whine about everything.  Their teeth are coming out also. Ava and Ace were the first to have their's come out and then Alfi and Artie. Abby and Aldo don't have any teeth yet. Overall, they seem to be in excellent shape and now their coats are gradually forming. Mariel's puppies have opened their eyes. The smallest puppy Ava opened her eyes on Thursday and everyone else on Friday. The puppies are growing and becoming more active every day.

It has almost been a week since the puppies were born. The first 13 days the puppies cannot hear or see at all. They have been staying close to their mother and littermates. Mariel is a very good mother she is taking very good care of the puppies and everyone is doing very well. She feels secure in her whelping box and she comes upstairs to see us once in a while when she has to go outside to the bathroom.  So far we have been providing the puppies and Mariel with a warm environment that is clean and comfortable.
