Most people would think Deer Search licensed handlers use their dogs only to find wounded big game. The truth is that in the off-season some of the blood tracking dogs are used for other hunting activities as well. In our case, Mae and Mariel do it all. They are an all around hunting dog. Von Tierspur
Our kennel name Von Tierspur, which in German means "animal track", has been in the family for 28 years. That is what our wire-haired dachshunds do best, they track and live up to their name.
